Scholarship Designation: Starfish Initiative, Indianapolis
Scholarship Type: $30,000 (renewable for 4 years)*
Number of Scholarships: 3 per year
Unmet Need After Scholarship: Approximately $15,000**
Candidate Selection: Scholarship winners will be selected by the general Hanover College scholarship committee, recommendations by Starfish Initiative staff are encouraged
Application Details: The application for admission materials submitted by the candidate will be used to assess scholarship eligibility, no additional actions need to be taken
*The annual renewal of the scholarship will be contingent on the student successfully meeting Hanover College academic standards
**Federal/State aid (grants, loans, work-study) and outside scholarships can be used to cover unmet need

Marian offers 25 full tuition scholarships to 21st Century Scholars each year. Starfish Scholars have a very good chance of receiving this scholarship, especially if they mention being a part of the program in the application and interview process. A limited number of Starfish Initiative scholarships are offered to Starfish Initiative Scholars who will be entering their freshman year at Uindy. A select number of Scholars will be chosen based on leadership, academic merit, and unmet financial need. This scholarship, in combination with federal and state gift assistance and other University awards, is equivalent to full tuition. A select group will be invited to campus for an on-campus interview.
