Jeff attended college on an art scholarship and has found a way to connect with his Scholar Titus through their mutual love of art. Jeff and Titus work on their paintings together Jeff’s art studio in the basement of his home.

Emily Angel

Employer: Pursuing law degree

Emily is a former 21st Century Scholar who is “paying it forward” by mentoring a junior on the Westside of the city. Emily brings first-hand knowledge of how tough it can be for 21st Century Scholars to graduate college, and is currently continuing her education as a law student.

Carson Goff

Carson became a mentor after chaperoning our Leadership Camp last year. He got involved in the camp through Giving+Sum. Carson also talked his wife, Monica, into becoming a mentor!

Melva Scott

Scholar: Daichelle - freshman
Employer: Eli Lilly and Company

Melva was a Mentor of the Year finalist at the Inspire 2010 awards. Her first Scholar, Briana, now attends DePauw University with a Gates Millennium Scholarship. Melva knows the sky’s the limit for her current Scholar, too!
