| The Starfish Initiative’s Back 2 School Expo is a free community event designed to provide the parents of children in grades Pre-K through 12th access to the best technologies and techniques available to jumpstart, excel and succeed in learning and in life.
The expo will feature vendors and sponsors from academic, health, community, family and college-related industries. Guests will be able to attend a variety of presentations covering topics such as planning for and financing college, extracurricular activities, volunteering, educational options, autism, internet predators and safety. Additionally, there will be live entertainment featuring music, dance and martial art performances – and even a live animal show. Children will also be able to enjoy the bounce houses and face painting.
The event will be on Saturday, July 28 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at the Indiana Convention Center. |
